Filmstad initiates, since 1993, special film screenings, like "Filmlab", "Filminn", "Kill your darlings", "PEK filmfestival" and produces films like "Filmblik".

Finally it is there, the world’s first film festival solely shown on the Internet. At this festival, which will take place from May 12th till May 14th , films do not play in theatres but can be viewed on five different websites. Just like at a regular film festival, visitors of the Streaming Festival will be able to choose from different programmes and switch between viewing locations. FilmStad produces: Filmblik | Filmblik is an opportunity for young filmmakers to make a short 16 mm film. Filmstad offers the filmmakers/artists one filmcan containing 120 meters = 10 minutes of 16 mm film, with this the filmmakers can make a film to their own insight and Filmstad produces and helps the artists in the making of this short experiment. This way 40 Filmblik's have already been made. | |
